Get Pumped with Ian- Candy Cane protein shake

Ingredients:

1 cup low-fat milk

1 scoop vanilla whey

4 candy canes

Directions: Put all ingredients in a blender. Blend.

Drink after workouts for festive holiday flavor. When: After workout Why: For fast digesting protein (whey) to boost muscle growth, a rush of sugar to spike insulin levels (candy canes), and decreased hunger and improved mental function (peppermint in the candy canes).

427 calories

28 g protein

69 g carbs

2 g fat

My Suggestion use fat free milk. Replace the regular candy canes with sugar free candy canes. Bobs Famous Candy Canesnow has sugar free candy canes. If you want a chocolate candy cane shake, be my guess but I suggest that you use the vanilla flavor. I would also sprinkle a bit of cinnamon for a kick of flavor.
