GymNow iPhone App Guides the Health Buffs

Add another potential use for the iPhone as it can now guide you when you work out. The new iPhone app is called the GymNow, a strength training fitness application specifically designed for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
It includes all the features required to build strength training routines from a workout and exercise database, plan them using an integrated calendar, record them through an automated live recorder, and analyze them using various charts.
While working out, the live recording shows what exercise to do, which set, how many repetitions, how much weight to use, how long to rest, etc., using clearly-readable text and timers. On-the-fly changes can be done to accommodate the exact routine being followed.
Workouts are then stored on the device and can be reviewed and edited at a later time. GymNow can be customized to use American or Metric units, specify the exercise speed and rest time between exercises, or use one of the provided graphical themes.
GymNow is available through the Apple App Store and is offered at a special introductory price of only $0.99.
