Hip Flexors Need Stretching
The hip flexors are a very important group of muscles for bodybuilders because they affix to the front pelvis area. These four muscles each have a job, which is bringing the thigh bone up near the bodybuilder’s torso. These muscles are always working when the bodybuilder is running, cycling, playing sports or skiing. Even when they are just sitting still the muscles continue to work for their body.
Sometimes stiffness in the lower back is caused by tension in the hip flexors. For this reason, bodybuilders need to keep their hip flexors flexible. If not, they become tight and the pelvis pulls out of position which brings pain to the lower back. For this reason, bodybuilders need to take the time to stretch their hip flexors.
