Hydrotrack Water Treadmill Now Available in Toronto

Swimming or using the pool to help out in therapeutic means for muscle restructuring is something common for most athletes. Water therapy has its share of helping and now, we see a different form of aquatic equipment in the Hydrotrack Water Treadmill that has been recently added by a local Kinesiologist in the greater Toronto area.

Katharine McLarty says the water treadmill is part of a growing range of treatment options available to clients who want to reclaim their life after an Injury, Weight Gain, Stroke or Brain Injury, Motor Vehicle Accident, Cardiovascular Disease, or Chronic Conditions such as Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s Disease or Diabetes.

The addition of this new kind of treadmill should be something worth checking out. Other than helping out in the weight loss process, it is bound to have some positive benefits as far as the right aid for sore and damaged muscles. It may even help address the problem of balance from the standard treadmill, a bane that many people have to deal with in time of severe injury.

Though only introduced in Toronto, if this machine proves to be effective, expect it to be spread in other regions as well (assuming it is not yet available). It covers both fitness issues and of course assisting rehabilitation issues needed by patients today.
