Joyful Yoga Studio Opens Door to Youth

If there is one thing that kids and teens may want to do this summer, it is that of staying fit or shedding off extra pounds. Now how do they go about it? Well for one, consider this invitation from Joyful Yoga Studio which is inviting kids aged 7 to 12.

The invitation is for a Summer Camp which will run the first two weeks of June, the last week of July and first week of August, making it a perfect way to round out other summer camps that may not extend the full course of summer break. This unique Summer Camp will feature yoga, Zumba, science and nutrition lessons, Spanish, creative arts, journaling and a weekly bowling field trip. Camp will run Monday through Friday 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and the cost is $100 per week.

Now that is something meaningful to do for the summer. Kids have their own share of fighting health and weight issues like obesity and surely, this is one activity that may help point them in the right direction.

“The variety of activities incorporated into each of our programs gives kids and teens the opportunity to exercise their muscles and their brains in a stimulating and non-competitive environment,” said Syd Hoffman, owner of Joyful Yoga Studio. “We’ll help them improve concentration and relaxation skills, which they can then take with them into every other part of their daily lives.”
