Leg Curl Fitness Machines Recalled
For sure a lot of us have turned to these new devices we see advertised on television. Most of them are aimed towards health buffs looking towards gadgets that help us trim down and stay fit. However, one cannot avoid some of these items possessing defects such as this Leg Curl Fitness Machine which is reportedly being recalled by Paramount Fitness Corp.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says this machine is being recalled because your hand could get caught between the cylindrical counter weight and the frame of the machine, crushing your hand. The company had gotten three reports, including a finger amputation and two finger-crushing injuries.
This recall involves the Paramount Fitness PL2100 leg curl machine. Serial numbers involved in this recall include: PL21-9301-000 through PL21-9510-099. If you have this machine, stop using it until you can fix it with a repair kit, which will be sent to you for free.
