Meet Mr. New Zealand
A 33 year old Rotorua body builder has been adjudged as this year’s Mr. New Zealand. Darryn Onekawa copped the title at the ASB showgrounds in Auckland over the weekend, unseating Nathan O’ Hearn. Onekawa took up bodybuilding when he was a teenager after being constantly bullied at school. With the win, Onekawa can now apply for the pro-card which will enable him to compete for the Mr. Olympia title.
