Never Leave Yourself Thirsty

You may go on diets as often as you wish but ask anyone or any physician and they will tell you to make sure you have a regular intake of water daily. Water is known as the lubricant and cleanser that makes our bodies move. In fact, you may go on days to weeks without food as long as you have water. Though you may feel week, water is something the body needs and surely cannot go on without.

Water makes up more than half your body weight and 90% of your blood. Every single function in your body needs water to operate properly. Water helps maintain your temperature, digest fats and assist in digestion. It’s a natural lubricant and cleanser and an excellent way to control hunger and lose weight.

When we talk about water intake, this refers to pure tap water. Some people often refer to sodas or sweetened drinks as great alternatives to taking solids which may account for glaring weight loss. But this would also depend. Remember that these flavored drinks have some ingredients that could react to your body like sugar. Hence, the need to be aware on what you are drinking as well as its contents is important if your goal is lose weight while relying on a liquid diet of sorts.

Whatever your intent would be, just make sure you drink at least three glasses of water a day. It can make a difference as far as your internal body requirement is concerned.
