Walking Still Leads Path to Better Health

Keeping fit and staying healthy doesn’t really need the assistance and dedication of hitting the gym or doing rigid training exercises. In fact, walking has always been known to be a good form of exercise if you do it regularly.

Walking can be both economical and healthy. We see a lot of people who walk to work. On top of getting plenty of fresh air, you’ll be able to avoid those difficult traffic jams, as well as indulge in some great cardiovascular exercise. What’s more, walking home can be an ideal way to unwind after a stressful day in the office.

And the benefits of walking regularly? Well, these include a decreased risk of having a heart attack, reduced cholesterol and lower blood pressure levels. Additionally, studies carried out has revealed that walking for an hour a day - five days a week - can also lower your risk of having a stroke.
